Fire HD 8 Tablet On Sale On Amazon Today
I track a number of travel and electronics items for price drops and report back on them to you guys. Today I’ve seen two good offers pop up. I just posted a little while ago about an Amazon Echo price drop.
And, it looks like the Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet is on sale for $59.99 today. It’s normally $79.99. That’s not the cheapest price we’ve seen. On Prime day, you could buy a 3-pack of the Fire 7 tablets that brought the price down to $40 a piece. But, this is the cheapest I’ve seen them where they can be purchased individually.
Should You Buy One?
Now, I’m an iPad guy. I think they’re a much better machine than the Amazon Fire tablet. And, I like the App Store more than Android’s version. But, an iPad is hundreds of dollars. If you don’t have a tablet now it’s hard to go wrong with these. They’re cheap enough to get one for your kids. I reviewed a previous version of the Amazon Fire tablet about 18 months ago and was really impressed for the price.
If you’re on a budget and looking for a tablet, I think it’s hard to go wrong with these.

Mike, not that one. The cheaper non-HD version I reviewed a couple years ago had some ads.
