Are you a Delta Skymiles guy or do you prefer the American Airlines AAdvantage program?  Marriott Rewards or Starwood Preferred Guest?  That’s what you get to decide now that this year’s voting for the Freddie Awards are open (I’ll take American and SPG, for the record).

The Freddie Awards have been letting regular travelers like you and I decide who the best loyalty programs are since 1988.  Last year, millions of folks voted.  I’ve been involved in helping produce the Freddie Awards the last few years and really enjoy the fact that my vote counts just as much as yours.  No special panel is deciding who the winners are.  It really boils down to how these programs take care of their members.

As the voting has grown it’s gotten much more global.  We’ve added two new languages this year, so now people can vote in 9 languages, making it easier for people from around the world to express their views.

So, the question remains.

Who are your favorites?

My goal in life is to fill my family’s passports with stamps, creating buckets of memories along the way. You’ll find me writing about realistic ways for normal people to travel the world, whether you’re on a budget or enjoy luxury. I also enjoy taking us on the occasional detour to explore the inner workings of the travel industry.
