Hyatt Regency Boston Politely Calls Me Out
It was just yesterday that I posted about my past stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston. I had stayed there last year and typed up most of the post as a draft, but it got lost in the shuffle of, you know, life. The list of posts I want to write is seemingly endless at this point. Even though it had been a while since the stay, I enjoyed the property and wanted to recognize a quality stay.
Well, the folks at HR Boston are quick. Not long after I posted they reached to tell me that, by the way, they’d renovated their guest rooms since my stay. I guess it was already under way when I stayed and has since been completed. They also told me that the Room of Hope promotion they ran with Children’s Hospital resulted in a $25,000 donation to Children’s from the hotel, which is awesome!
Since they were so polite (and apparently have awesome eyes on the internet), I figured it was only fair that I share the renovated room pics they sent me. I can’t verify how nice the rooms are, but I can emphasize I felt the staff were all very friendly during my short stay. And, they do look great! Here you go:
You know you need to follow up for us and test run the new rooms ;)..
Von, it’s on the list. Such a long list!
I stayed at the hotel about a month ago for 1 night, and can verify that the room I was given (as a Plat) looked very similar to the new pictures, and had definitely been renovated since my prior stay about 18 month earlier.
wizzy, thanks for the heads up and confirmation. Did you like the room?
thats the room I had last month, and it was nice of them to upgrade me on a award stay. The lobster eggs Benedict on the breakfast menu is awfully good too.
Mmmm, lobster benedict.
