Dirt Cheap ($150 and Up) Mistake Fares To Europe And Beyond, Grab Them While You Can
Here’s the skinny:
You’re booking a ticket on a Norwegian travel site. They’re currently not applying fuel surcharges. Fuel surcharges are a significant portion of some international tickets and when someone forgets to load the surcharges correctly there are great deals to be had.
There’s a chance that United doesn’t honor these tickets, or the Norwegian travel site tries to cancel them. But, I’ve seen a bunch of folks get tickets issued in the past couple hours off this deal.
It’s important to note that you shouldn’t try to contact the airline and change the ticket as that will likely result in the ticket being reissued with fuel surcharges. Some examples of fares are $149 from Newark to Milan (roundtrip) and Newark to London $411 RT.
These happen from time to time and you need to jump on them quickly. I’d be surprised if this is still around much longer.
UPDATE: The booking site is seeing a lot of traffic right now. It’s taking time to come up but still functional, so don’t give up hope if you can’t get through right away.
