I don’t really want to devolve into protracted political discussions, but on this one I can’t help myself.

I wrote not too long ago that Bloomberg wants to ban sugary drinks larger than 16 oz.  He’s decided to wage a crusade against obesity by making legal products illegal to sell (no more 20 oz. bottles of soda).

Apparently, smoking dope is better for you than drinking 20 ounces of soda.  Bloomberg is backing an effort to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana.  I’ve never actually smoked pot and don’t drink much soda.  But, really?

My goal in life is to fill my family’s passports with stamps, creating buckets of memories along the way. You’ll find me writing about realistic ways for normal people to travel the world, whether you’re on a budget or enjoy luxury. I also enjoy taking us on the occasional detour to explore the inner workings of the travel industry.
