Widely Targeted: 10K-20K Chase Ultimate Rewards Bonus For Travel Portal Booking

There’s a targeted offer that many folks are reporting they’ve received on their Chase credit cards. There appear to be two different versions of the offer on personal credit cards where you can earn up to 20,000 bonus Ultimate Rewards points.

Chase Travel Portal Booking Bonus

While a number of folks in my Slack community have reported received a 10,000 point offer, I was targeted for a 20,000 point version of this offer with two choices.  I received the offer via e-mail.  The offer e-mail looks like this:

Once I clicked on the offer, I received the following details:

I have two paths to earn bonus points and can only earn one of the two offers:

1. 20,000 bonus points for a hotel stay of at least $500 booked through the Chase Travel Portal.

2. 10,000 bonus points for an airline ticket, car rental, cruise or tour totaling at least $500 booked through the Chase Travel Portal.

Further, the terms and conditions state that to be eligible, you cannot have used the Chase Travel Portal since August 15th, 2022.  To my knowledge, I’ve never used the Chase Travel Portal (not a big fan of these portals), so I should be eligible.  Full terms & conditions are at the bottom of this message.

After registering, you’ll have until January, 2025 to book your travel and until the end of August, 2025 to complete your travel.

The Final Two Pennies

I think both the 10K and the 20K bonus offers are very good, with the 20,000 bonus point offer being one of the easiest ways to ever earn 20,000 Ultimate Rewards points.  I consider Ultimate Rewards points one of the best, and most flexible, award currency around.  Being able to earn 20,000 points from one hotel booking is a no-brainer for me.

As a general rule, you won’t earn elite night credit or loyalty points with a major hotel chain if you book your stay through a travel portal such as Chase Travel. So, I’ll be giving up some points to take advantage of this offer.  However, the 20,000 point bonus far outweighs anything I can earn on a $500 hotel stay booked directly.

Check your e-mail and let me know if you were targeted for one of these offers!

  1. I’ve got the 20,000 offer for both personal and business logins. My main hesitation is that at a quick glance the prices are bad. Like really bad.

There’s a lovely hotel my wife and I like in Bali that’s an independent and Chase lists the hotel. Sounds perfect, right? The problem is, the prices are about double what you’d pay through the hotel’s website.

I love me some Chase points but that’s a bitter pill to swallow to get some. I’ll check other places but unless I can find better the bonus may go uncollected.
