Free Hilton Gold Status For Everyone, Need To Register October 1st

There’s an easy way to get Hilton Gold status right now, with a reasonable path to Diamond status as well. Bilt Rewards announced their Rent Day offerings this month, and the headline is free Hilton Gold status to all Bilt members. It’s free to join Bilt Rewards and take advantage of this offer.
Usually, you need to put in some work to qualify for status. Most travel loyalty programs require you to hit certain thresholds (number of nights, flights, dollars spent) or have status from another program that they will match. To get Hilton Gold status through Bilt Rewards, you need neither! There are also opportunities to extend the status or earn higher status through early 2026:
- On October 1st (important, only October 1st) login to the Bilt Rewards app to activate Hilton Gold status through December 31, 2024.
- Every Bilt member has the chance to earn Hilton Diamond status through March, 2026. Blue (entry-level), Silver and Gold members need to stay 14 nights between October 1st and December 31st, 2024 to earn Diamond status.
- Bilt Platinum members only need to stay 10 nights between October 1st and December 31st, 2024 to earn Diamond through March, 2026.

The Rest Of Rent Day
There’s a lot more to Rent Day this month than just the Hilton status offer. For starters, Bilt is bringing back the Virgin Voyages BOGO offer again:
For the third and final month in a row, Bilt members will be able to participate in the “Buy One Sailor Get Second Sailor 100% Off” offer when they book an eligible Virgin Voyage during the below designated window. Eligible cabins for this offer include Sea Terrace Cabins.
Additionally, sailings booked during the below designated time window using the Bilt Access Key “VVBILT” will be eligible to receive onboard perks and benefits as follows:
Unlimited premium wifi
Two (2) specialty coffees per day $100 bar tab credit
Access to an exclusive cocktail event Complimentary laundry
Priority boarding at embarkation Dedicated support
The window to book and activate benefits is from September 26, 2024 at 9:00am ET to October 2, 2024 at 3:00am ET. All eligible cruises and cabins will be available on a Virgin Voyages landing page accessed from the Bilt Rewards app. All eligible bookings made during the prescribed time window will automatically receive these benefits within a 14-day window of their booking date. Members will receive an email from Virgin Voyages confirming their benefits have been applied.

Targeted Rent Day Offers
Bilt is rolling out two new targeted offers for members this Rent Day.
10X Points On Neighborhood Dining
Bilt Members who receive this benefit will earn a total of 10x on Bilt Neighborhood Dining restaurants when they pay using a linked card between September 26 – October 1st.
Eligible members can earn 10x on up to $500 worth of Bilt Neighborhood Dining purchases.
Rent Credit Bonus
Bilt members who are targeted for this benefit will get up to a 100% bonus on Bilt points they use for rent credits.
SoulCycle, Rent Free, Hilton Happy Hours
Bilt is offering free SoulCycle classes for Bilt members again this month.
They’ll also be offering special Neighborhood Dining experiences in the app.
And, there will be Hilton Happy Hour experiences in the app as well!
You can also play the Rent Free game show in the Bilt app, and they’ve recently added more chances to win. On top of being able to win a month’s free rent (for the top 10 scorers), the top 600 on the scoreboard will earn some bonus Bilt Rewards points.
For folks who hold the credit card, this is your reminder that you can earn double points on all categories (except rent) on the first day of every month (capped at 10,000 bonus points per month). That means you’ll earn:
- 6 points per dollar on dining
- 4 points per dollar on travel
- 2 points per dollar on everything else (except rent)
The Final Two Pennies
Free hotel status can come in handy for holiday travel. You’ll earn 20% more points, and get a food & beverage credit at hotels within the US and should get breakfast at many international Hilton properties. You won’t get a whole lot more with Gold status, but Diamond status is more likely to score upgrades and also gets a 100% bonus on paid hotel stays.
The Virgin BOGO offer is one I wish I could take advantage of. I hope it comes back again next year.
