Bilt Rewards has a number of offers for Black Friday and Rent Day this year that will help folks earn a bunch of points over the next week or so regardless of whether you hold the Bilt Mastercard or not.
Up To 16 Points On Bilt Dining
Starting on Black Friday, November 24th and running through December 1st, 2023 you can earn a minimum of 10 points per dollar on any Bilt dining transactions just by adding any credit card to your Bilt wallet (doesn’t have to be the Bilt Mastercard) and dining at a Bilt Dining restaurant. There are some fantastic restaurants as part of the program and they’ve recently expanded the number of restaurants available.
This stacks with double points on dining charges on the Bilt Mastercard on December 1st, meaning you can earn 16 points per dollar when you pay with your Bilt card at a Bilt dining restaurant on the 1st. Sounds like I’m taking my wife to dinner!
Double Points On Everyday Spending
From November 23rd through November 27th, 2023 Bilt is offering double points on all 1X categories (excluding rent) as long as you make at least five transactions in the month. There’s a really generous $20,000 limit on this category. That opens up a lot of opportunities to earn more points on your holiday shopping. The value here will depend on what other cards you carry in your wallet. For example, if you held the Discover Card and hadn’t maxed out their 5% cash back at Amazon and Target for Q4, you might choose that over 2X Bilt Rewards points.
As I argued recently, it still may be the right decision to take 2X points due to Bilt’s frequent incredible transfer bonuses. 2 points per dollar plus a 150% transfer bonus may serve you better than cash back, it just depends on your individual situation.
Bilt Italian Dining Experience
I’m bummed my schedule doesn’t work for this experience. I’d never turn down a great Italian meal.
We’ve teamed up with Mastercard to host a creatively crafted evening of culinary indulgence. 40 guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a five-course meal featuring dishes from four of New York City’s favorite Italian restaurants: Saint Theo’s, Di Fara, A Pasta Bar and La Baia.
This night to remember will take place on December 1st and as they dine, guests will be virtually immersed in serene Italian scenes thanks to the floor-to-ceiling projections at the unique Lavan Chelsea space in New York City.
Each course will introduce a new region of Italy inspired by the chef to appeal to the senses through food, music and art.
Here’s How to Secure a Spot:
Beginning November 25th at noon ET, this event will be available to reserve in the Bilt app on a first-come, first-served basis. Bilt Mastercard Cardholders can book the experience for themselves and one guest for $150 or 12,500 Bilt Points per person.
Cardholders who secure this exclusive experience will be notified immediately, and once it’s booked others will be able to turn on notifications to be made aware of future openings. Attendees must be aged 21+.
This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate both the local culinary scene in New York City while also enjoying an unforgettable culinary experience with Bilt Members.
Key Event Details:
Date: December 1, 2023
Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Location: Lavan Chelsea 541 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001
This event partnership between Bilt Rewards and Mastercard is the first-of-its-kind and signifies a commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences to their members.
All The Rest Of Rent Day
Bilt also has a number of offers on the first of each month to earn points. Most of them only require you to sign-up for a free Bilt Rewards membership. There are trivia questions in the Bilt app where you can earn free points as well as their game show-style contest, Rent Free where you can earn one month’s free rent.
For folks who hold the credit card, this is your reminder that you can earn double points on all categories (except rent) on the first day of every month (capped at 10,000 bonus points per month). That means you’ll earn:
- 6 points per dollar on dining
- 4 points per dollar on travel
- 2 points per dollar on everything else (except rent)
You can also grab a free Soulcycle class on December 1st at more than 50 Soulcycle studios across the US. Reservations are available in the Bilt app starting on November 25th, 2023 at noon ET.
The Final Two Pennies
These offers come along at a really good time for me. After multiple massive transfer bonuses drained my Bilt Rewards account I’ve been spending the past few months building up my balance. It’s still not where I want if Bilt Rewards were to launch another big transfer bonus. I also haven’t had the chance to use Bilt Dining yet, and they recently expanded in the DC area, my hometown. I also have some Christmas gifts to purchase at stores where I don’t earn a bonus on any specific credit cards (for example, Lego has some great deals for their VIP members that are on my son’s Xmas list). Instead of pulling out a cash back card it probably makes sense for me to use my Bilt Mastercard and bank on another big transfer bonus in 2024.
Don’t forget to play the free games for points and chances to win rent. They’re quick and easy and will help boost your balance.
