Chase Cardholders Get Special Viewing Of Fireworks At Disney World Food & Wine Festival
Credit card companies are increasingly finding unique benefits to give their cardholders. Chase has gotten into the game over the past few years by offering lounges in places like busy malls during the holiday shopping season.
I stumbled on another cool little extra at Disney World last week. EPCOT is in the full throes of the Food & Wine Festival. For any adult that doesn’t think Disney is for them, go spend a day walking around Food & Wine. It just might change your mind. Anyway, back on track.
I was running from Japan to Norway (long story) and literally almost ran into this sign just outside the Campanile in Italy.
There’s a small area there that is cordoned off for Chase cardmembers to have a premium viewing spot for the evening fireworks. Surprisingly, it wasn’t completely overflowing during our holiday weekend visit. That tells me most folks with a Chase card in their wallet don’t know it’s available to them.
My friend Mommy Points has written about the Chase lounge at EPCOT in the past but I hadn’t heard of the fireworks viewing area. This isn’t as compelling as my wife getting a tennis lesson from Andre Agassi from Starwood Preferred Guest, but I love when loyalty programs and credit cards find interesting ways to recognize loyalty.
There’s just about a month left to this year’s version of Food & Wine at EPCOT. If you’re headed to Orlando for some mouse time, make sure you pack a Chase credit card to take advantage of this free benefit.
