Awesome Video! Day In The Life Of An Airport

With only iPhones and GoPros, Scott Mayerowitz and some other folks from the AP shot this awesome video of a day in the life of DFW airport.

Two of my favorite stats from the video:

  • DFW moves cargo volume equal to the weight of a 747 every day.  Damn.
  • DFW is larger than the city of Manhattan in total acreage.  That one I’ve known for a while, it’s a great stat to bring out at parties if you’re a nerd an aviation enthusiast like me.

 

My goal in life is to fill my family’s passports with stamps, creating buckets of memories along the way.
