Let’s Talk Travel! Come Join Us For Another DC/MD/VA Area Travel Meetup!
It’s time to get together again to talk travel. I started out the year resolved to spend more time meeting readers of my blog. To that end, Jeanne and I are going to try to do more frequent events. Look for another announcement shortly on a March date as well. Jeanne from LeChicGeek and I are getting together for another happy hour to talk travel, miles and points!
We’ll be a bit closer to my neck of the woods this time.
The Lobby Bar at Hyatt Regency Reston is our home from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Thursday, February 8th.
Hyatt Regency Reston
1800 Presidents Street
Reston, VA 20190
Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station (Silver Line)
Please register for the event here. That way, we can make sure we hold enough space for everyone.
What’s GeekyPizza, you ask? It’s a series of travel meetups that my friend Jeanne and I have been organizing for a couple of years. Jeanne writes the blog LeChicGeek. When you put a geek and some pizza together, you get…..
Jeanne and I will be hanging out, sharing drinks with friends and answering all of your travel questions.
I really enjoy helping folks with their travel because I usually learn along the way. But, I like to brainstorm, something that’s harder to do via e-mail or a blog post. And, I’m Italian, so I talk with my hands (something else quite difficult to do while typing an e-mail). That’s why I enjoy picking up the phone or sitting down with someone to just have a good old-fashioned conversation. It’s why I’m thankful to have Jeanne as a partner in these events. She’s done an awesome job sourcing venues and organizing.

Michael,
We’re doing our best to move the events around to different places based on requests from readers. Happy to try to pick you up at the Wiehle Metro.
