WOW: 50% Off Southwest Flights During 3-Day Flash Sale!

This is one heck of a fare sale to wake up to!  As part of Southwest Airlines’ 50th anniversary celebration they’re offering 50% off all flights this fall.

As reported by Ben from One Mile at a Time, you’ll need to purchase your flight by 6/17.  When you use code SAVE50 at checkout, you’ll save 50% off the base fare for all Southwest flights departing September 15 through November 3, 2021.

You’ll see the 50% discount on revenue flights while searching the Southwest website but you’ll need to key in the promo code SAVE50 to see the discount applied to award flights.  This should even apply to rebooking existing reservations.

The Final Two Pennies

Southwest Airlines doesn’t charge change fees (though you will pay a difference in fare if you switch flights). So, if you’re thinking about a vacation this fall, go ahead and grab seats now.  You can always cancel later and hold the credit for a future flight within the next year.  For families looking to book a cheap family vacation, you may not get a better opportunity in 2021!
