Dulles AeroTrain
I had to fly United out of IAD today. I got to the airport a bit early, and decided to go check in at the Admirals Club so they would get credit for me stopping by. I was a victim of very good timing on my way there. For those that don’t know, Dulles has been building an underground train system to move passengers between the various terminals. Now entering it’s 77th year of construction, it’s almost done.

As I was walking to the new part of the B terminal today, workers were in the process of taking down the construction wall around the station at B. I was able to walk down a short hallway and take pictures of the virtually completed station. By the time I walked back, they already had cones and a barrier up, so I appear to have had great timing to sneak a couple of pics. Don’t worry, the main terminal is nowhere near completed, so my daughter may be driving before this train leaves the station.
