Bilt has made a pretty big deal out of the first day of the month, and I’ve taken advantage of a couple of them for some pretty big travel wins.  I doubled my Bilt Rewards balance when I transferred my entire balance during the Hawaiian Airlines 100% transfer bonus a few months ago.  With only a few months to build my balance up again, I transferred all my points to Air France/KLM Flying Blue when Bilt featured another 100% transfer bonus.

Bilt Rewards Mastercard

You don’t need the Bilt Rewards Mastercard to participate in any of the rent day festivities, and you can even earn bonus points on Lyft rides without the card.  But, it’s a no annual fee card that has a pretty solid earning structure.

And, on Rent Day (the first day of each month) you can earn double points on all purchases (except for rent) for all charges on the Bilt Rewards Mastercard. That’s 6 points per dollar on dining, 4 points per dollar on travel and 2 points per dollar on everything else, up to a max of 10,000 bonus points earned.

When you combine that with 5X on dining with the new Bilt Dining program, you can earn 11 points per dollar on dining during Rent Day.

‘POINT QUEST’ TRIVIA
