Hyatt Expands Brand Explorer. Earn Up To Five Free Nights

When Hyatt transitioned from the Gold Passport program to World of Hyatt they added some very thoughtful benefits to the program.  One of those was Brand Explorer.  For every five unique brands you stayed out across Hyatt’s portfolio, you’d earn one free night certificate valid at any Category 1-4 hotel.  Used wisely, these certificates are worth hundreds of dollars at the right property.  And, you don’t need to be an elite Hyatt member to earn these.  You just need to book directly with Hyatt.  Both paid and award stays count, you just need to hit five different brands.

Hyatt Brand Explorer Expands

For years you could only earn three total free nights because of the number of different Hyatt brands.  However, Hyatt has added quite a few new brands, including a recent massive expansion of their all-inclusive portfolio.  In all, they expect to have 26 brands in the near future.  I had reached out to Hyatt for confirmation on whether these new brands would be part of the Brand Explorer program.

I received confirmation that these brands will be included.  That means the most adventurous among us can now earn up to five free nights if you stay at 25 total different brands.

The Final Two Pennies

As you can see, I’ve been stuck on 12 brands for quite some time.  I actually have stayed at Hyatt Ziva, though that was before the Brand Explorer program launched.  But, clearly I have some work to do.  With nine all-inclusive brands now spread out in the Caribbean and Mexico it may take a while for Hyatt fans to hit 25 brands.  I hope folks have fun trying!

How many different Hyatt brands have you experienced?
