Cheap Flights To Europe and Hawaii, Free Chick-Fil-A And Blowing Up Las Vegas Icons

a person holding a sign

Here’s what I’m reading about today in the world of travel:

Cheap Flights of the Day: Switzerland & Amsterdam $500 round-trip (available through March 2017), $600 tickets to Hawaii, and WOW Air is discounting Iceland trips to $250 round-trip again.

In Case You Missed It: Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is back on track.

My quick spin through Air Canada Centre for a Raptors playoff game.

If you’re thinking about flying WOW Air, it’s worth reading this quick piece from The Girl and Globe.

Auction ending soon:  2 nights in upstate NY wine country in a beautiful B&B for just over $100.

Free Chick-Fil-A!

I was somewhat excited to see that United rolled out a new business class seat yesterday.  The business class lounges aren’t my biggest priority, but that was a nice plus to see as well.  Except, back to the new seat, we won’t actually see it on most planes until 2021.  I just can’t get excited about something that will happen after the next President of the US has completed their first term.

A by-product of this announcement is the eventual elimination of first class on United.  This is another non-story for me.  It makes up a small portion of United’s fleet and, to me, isn’t that markedly different from their BusinessFirst product.

Blowing up big things in Las Vegas.  Who doesn’t love a good implosion?

$10 from Fat Wallet and EBates.

I wonder if we’ll be able to redeem Hyatt Gold Passport points in Atlantic City soon…..I used to enjoy playing in poker tournaments at Borgata before life got waaaay too complicated.

Don’t forget to check for saver business class inventory when you’re thinking about redeeming a “standard” coach award.

Where to get free donuts today.  Mmmm, donuts.
