Here’s what I’m reading about today in the world of miles and points:
Cheap Flights of the Day: Flights to Alaska for under $300. Also, 30% off on Spirit fares using code 30PCT, including Saturday departures. Book by March 27th.
In Case You Missed It: The first Hyatt promo of the year is a really good one. And, Hyatt’s acquisition strategy helped them add a cool new property.
Savings at everyday merchants like Panera Bread, Southwest, Lyft and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nifty program that I might have to look into.
A town in Florida is subsidizing Uber. This makes a ton of sense to me. That’s why I’m surprised they actually came up with the idea and executed on it.
Trevor from Tagging Miles disagrees with me and thinks the Hyatt promo could lead to the other chains beefing up their game. I’m really skeptical of that theory given the recent financial results of the hotel chains.
Here’s how to visit the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC and do it right. Not to sound curmudgeonly, but I’ve done it once, which is enough for my lifetime. The traffic down there is nuts during Cherry Blossom.
The post Cheap Flights To Alaska, Discounts At Panera, Southwest And Tips on Visiting DC for Cherry Blossom (Bleh) was published first on Pizza in Motion.
