American Airlines increased the value of BusinessExtrAA, in that you can now earn and redeem points on British Airways and Iberia.  And, they’re giving away 10 airline tickets to celebrate.

BusinessExtrAA

If you fly American Airlines and don’t have a BusinessExtrAA account, you should sign up for one.  It’s free to join and you earn extra points for flights you purchase/influence, not just for those you fly.  And, the people flying still earn miles just like they normally would.

If you’re a small business owner, this is great if you have employees who travel.  They still earn their miles and you can earn points to redeem for upgrades, free flights, Gold status, Admirals Club membership and more.

Apparently, the inclusion of British Airways and Iberia is not “new” news as the T&C show it was something included in May of this year.  As long as the ticket is purchased on AA, BA or Iberia ticket stock and the passenger flies one of those 3 airlines, you’ll earn BusinessExtra points if your number is on the record.  And, you can also earn miles on AA codeshare flights with Finnair, JAL and Qantas.

They’re celebrating the changes by giving away 10 free airline tickets to one winner.  You can enter here by watching a short video and you don’t need a BusinessExtrAA number to enter.  The T&C do say that the award needs to go to a company of at least 2 employees.

Good luck!
