Cheap Flights To Europe In Jeopardy? Choice 2 Stays Earns $50. Is A $1700 Fare A Good Deal? Citi HHonors Reserve Points Not Posting Correctly. Things I Find Interesting On Sunday, June 8, 2014.

Here’s what I find interesting on a quiet Sunday morning in the travel world:

Norwegian Air has been offering some incredibly low fares between the US and Europe, much to the chagrin of their competitors.  Now, the airlines and their unions are ganging up on them to try and bring it to a halt.

Choice Hotels is offering a promo where two stays earns you enough points for a $50 gift card to a variety of merchants.

View From the Wing counters the argument made by Matt at Saverocity regarding that $1700 first class fare United had from Boston to Seoul yesterday.  I’m on Gary’s side here, mostly because I just wrote about how I have way too many PQDs on United and not enough PQMs.  Matt’s got a valid argument here.  Different strokes for different folks!

Mommy Points is having way too much fun staying in Alaskan hotels trying to sleep in broad daylight.  After buying Mommy Points a potty seat a couple years ago, it might be time I spring for an eye mask.

If you have the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card, make sure you read this thread about points not posting correctly.

Where does your Sunday find you?
