Starwood’s New Promo Starts Tomorrow. Don’t Forget To Register
A few weeks ago I detailed SPG’s new promo, Double Take.
It’s pretty straight forward. Double points on all stays through July 31, 2013. There’s a decent amount of properties not participating, but still plenty to earn the bonus at.
They’re also offering a 500 point bonus for booking using your mobile device. I liken this to the days where the airlines offered bonus miles to print your boarding pass online. Now I don’t even think twice about getting my boarding pass electronically, with no bonus from the airlines. Starwood Preferred Guest is trying to train you for future bookings. They pay a significant chunk of commission when you book through a travel consolidator like Expedia, so it’s a big payoff in the end for them if you book directly.
Don’t forget to register, even if you’re not sure you’ll have a Starwood stay during the period. It’s quick, easy and free, and plans change.
