I got to sneak into the American Airlines Flagship Lounge at JFK during their soft opening. The new space is unrecognizable compared to the previous space. It’s much larger with significantly upgraded attributes throughout.

Up until a few years ago, Hawaiian Airlines used to award airline miles for Amazon purchases. During that time period they were the only loyalty program I was aware of that did so. IAG, the parent of British Airways and Iberia, is acquiring a significant stake in Aer Lingus. That almost certainly means a move back to oneworld for Aer Lingus in the future. Check out their new business class product already flying to and from the US.
US Airways will be joining the oneworld alliance on March 31, 2014 and they’re celebrating by awarding bonus miles for folks who travel on more than oneworld partner airline. Registration is here.
