Need to get your Vegas on? Love to eat at great restaurants? These deals MAY be for you, but consider carefully before buying. Make sure you can max out dining credits, etc to get the most value.
Las Vegas has plenty of hotel rooms and sometimes it feels like there are as many “deals” as there are rooms. The endless supply of deals and packages can be a bit overwhelming. Suffice it to say if you’re paying full price for a hotel room in Vegas you’re likely leaving money on the table (that you could be spending at the tables). For those of you with Hyatt elite status (or looking for an excuse to acquire it), don’t forget that you have a pretty lucrative discount program at […]
Hyatt has a new hotel promotion out that can earn you bonus points in Las Vegas through the end of September, 2015. You can register here. You can earn up to 1,500 bonus points after every 3rd night during the promotion period, which runs until September 30, 2015. Hyatt’s partnership with MGM Resorts/M Life makes earning points in Las Vegas much easier than it used to be, especially at properties you actually want to stay at. If you’re wondering what these properties are like, you can follow along my […]
Today’s Daily Getaway offer features discounted packages at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas. In case you’re not familiar, Daily Getaways are daily deals sponsored by the US Travel Association. Some are better than others, so you need to think about whether you can take full advantage of the offer before buying. For the more popular offers, they will sell out quickly, which means being around right when they go on sale each day at 1:00 pm EDT. Some offers will sell out in hours, some in minutes. It’s also important to […]

Don’t forget to enter my Sterling Silver Starbucks card giveaway. Now that I’m not on a train anymore, I took a few minutes to go over the Hyatt Gold Passport award category changes we learned about earlier this evening. First, a full list of the properties going up in category: First of all, I actually stayed at Excalibur, though I haven’t reviewed it yet. It’s a bit scary to me that it’s moving up to a category 3, requiring 12,000 points a night. Grand Hyatt Sao Paolo is probably under-priced, […]

Hyatt announced a new promotion that can earn you up to 1,000 bonus points per night for stays at any Hyatt or MGM Resorts/M Life property in Las Vegas. The promotion runs through the end of the year, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of this. You do need to register by October 15th, which you can do so here. And, since registration is free, I always subscribe to the adage that you should go ahead and register now even if you don’t have a planned Vegas stay. […]
