A quick review of the restaurants at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point.
There’s no question this is the best Hyatt Regency in the DC area (the only Hyatt nicer in the area is Park Hyatt DC). Take a look at this brand new property you’re going to want to check out the next time you’re in DC….
One of the reasons I like Hyatt is because they consistently deliver on their benefits. While I’ve enjoyed being a Starwood Platinum over the years, I don’t always get what’s promised. With Hyatt, I always get what’s promised, and sometimes a bit more. Today, quite a bit more. I had heard from some of my fellow travelers that Hyatt had rolled out a program rewarding some members of Gold Passport who had stayed at over 50 different properties. Just for fun, I decided to tally up my list of properties. […]
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a free Briggs & Riley TORQ suitcase! Hyatt is dropping two more pins on the map in places where they’re currently a bit under served. I’d rather see a full-service property like a Hyatt Regency, but I’m glad to see more presence in downtown. Limited service/extended stay is an area I think Hyatt […]
Lots of announcements for new properties at Hyatt these days: Hyatt is converting an existing property in the Cherry Creek market of Denver to a Hyatt Place. This used to be a Loews. There’s already a number of properties in the Denver market but they don’t have a limited service presence in downtown. While I enjoy the Hyatt Regency in Denver, I think adding a limited service Hyatt property closer to downtown is a definite plus here. They’ve announced a Hyatt Regency in Uzbekistan, scheduled to open in 2015. Expansion […]
The Denver downtown market is an odd one for Hyatt. I’ve always said that the labels on the two properties (Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency) were reversed. The Hyatt Regency is a new cosmopolitan property where the Grand is older and definitely in need of attention. It does have some of the trappings of a Grand, but there were much more luxurious Grand options in the Hyatt system. They’ve been discussing renovations for a while, and I got the chance last year to stay in one of the new club […]
