HELP WANTED: Hiring An Intern

Boy, have I been swamped lately……

I need your help!  Between my blog and podcast (with another surprise or two on the way) I’ve just run out of time.  I much prefer writing and recording than social media, but that’s really just me putting my head in the sand.  So, I need someone who has a bit of social media experience and a lot of excitement to work on a part-time basis as an intern/coordinator to help me make things great!
The right person will be willing to maintain a flexible schedule of approximately 10 hours a week.  They’ll have a working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  Because, well, that’s the world we live in!  Pinterest knowledge a plus.
They’ll also love travel and listen to the occasional podcast.  Liking Disney wouldn’t be a deal breaker, either.
Other key skills that would be really cool to have:
  • Experience using social media scheduling software
  • Experience running email campaigns (we use MailChimp)
  • Experience using software to increase conversions (we use Sumo)
  • Experience using graphic software for simple designs
Job duties include:
  • Update and maintain social media channels for the various channels
  • Evaluate e-mail campaigns and test new strategies
  • Provide regular reporting on website traffic and social media
  • Engage with our target audience on-line (comment, like, share)
  • Automate and publish weekly social media campaigns
