United Award Sale: 20% Off Select International Destinations

United Airlines is offering a 20% discount on saver awards to select international destinations.  The destinations are popular ones, so it’s definitely worth a look.

Points With A Crew reported on a post from Mile Nerd detailing the cities United has on discount:

To take advantage of the discount, awards need to be booked by March 2, 2018.  Eligible travel dates are in May and June.

The Final Two Pennies

These are four awesome destinations.  They’re also popular choices.  The discount is only available for an economy class booking.  That’s a bit of a bummer.  I flew to Australia in business class and was still tired when I got off the plane.  Not sure I’d want to attempt it in coach, but I know plenty of folks who have.  Portugal would be a much more manageable flight in coach.

May and early June aren’t exactly high season for leisure travel.  But, I can’t recall a time when United discounted these cities.  So, take a look and see if you can take advantage of it.
