Southwest And Disney Team Up On New Theme For Boeing 737 Aircraft

a heart with a red blue and yellow stripe

Southwest and Disney have teamed up for a new plane design on one of the airline’s Boeing 737-700.  There’s some eye candy on Twitter of the new design:

Ben Mutzabaugh has all the details of this newest plane design, along with a bunch of sneak peeks.  The design will be part of a tie-in to the new Disney movie “Coco”, which I’m sure my kids will want to go see.

I’m a sucker for special plane livery designs.  Southwest has a handful of state-themed designs flying around (the article notes this number at 10).  I’ve been able to snap a few photos of them at various airports.  I’m hoping to put up an AvGeeky page at some point with pictures of special liveries I’ve spotted.  Such a nerd, right?

I’m hoping I bump into this special livery to steal a picture for my kids.

If you happen to see it, snag a picture of yourself with the plane in the picture.

I just might have something in my prize bin for you if you’re the first!
