Would You Like A Free Ticket To Frequent Traveler University?

Frequent Traveler University has been featuring events for the past 5 years or so in an effort to help folks learn more about the world of miles and points.  While it’s harder to earn free travel nowadays than when I first started in this hobby, it’s still very possible.  That’s what makes an event like Frequent Traveler University so valuable.

The FTU folks are launching a new event, FTU Expo.  They’re expecting a few thousand attendees in Chicago for the first FTU Expo on Saturday, November 18th.  The FTU Expo events are geared towards folks who are getting started in the world of miles and points as well as folks that might have a bit more experience.

If you’re a bit more advanced, you might consider the FTU Signature event.  This is for folks looking to learn from the foremost experts on earning and burning points in an extreme way.  That event is also taking place in Chicago at the same time, from November 17th-19th.  Folks who purchase a ticket to the FTU Signature event will also have access to the Expo.

So far, there are a number of speakers confirmed for FTU Expo:

And, I’ll be there speaking as well!  There are sure to be more speakers added as we get closer to the event.

Registration Discount

You can register here for both events:

FTU Expo tickets are $39

FTU Signature is $249

Why You Should Attend

I have conversations every day with folks who aren’t earning all the miles/points they could be.  Many of these folks think that they’ll never be able to redeem those miles or points, that they’re wasting their time. When I sit down with them and share a few simple things they can do to earn free travel, their eyes light up.

It’s not difficult to travel the world for very little investment.  But, you need to know where to start.  A weekend at Frequent Traveler University is an easy way to get started.

Want A Free Ticket to FTU Expo?

I’m giving away two FTU Expo tickets to two individual winners.  Essentially, these are $39 discount codes.  You can use these to get a discount on FTU Signature, or to attend FTU Expo for free.

Just leave a comment below on why you want to go to FTU.  You need to enter by 11:59pm EDT on Friday, October 6th to have a chance to win.

Hope to see you there!

I do receive a small affiliate commission if you purchase a ticket using the links above.  These are the lowest prices available for tickets.  I appreciate your support and hope to see you in Chicago.

  1. I’d love to go to meet new vendors that could make my work and pleasure travel easier, as well as some like-minded travel hackers!

  2. I have never been to a points and miles training seminary. I would love to learn the fine points (ha ha) of points and miles earning and spending. Meeting other people who would enjoy this lifestyle (or obsession depending on who you talking too) would be great. Also I have never been to Chicago and have been aching for a true deep dish pizza.

    1. Sorry, please take my name out of consideration. As much as I would love to go, I am going to India that week and the next on Emirates and Etihad first class thanks to points and miles. Hope to make it to the next one.

  3. I’m looking to expand my circle of friends and would love to meet like minded folks that enjoy the hobby and also the camaraderie.

  4. Read BA daily and would love to attend FTU to learn advanced techniques from leaders in the travel, points and miles industry!

  5. This would be a great opportunity to meet with like-minded individuals, in addition to learning the tricks of the trade, other peoples ambition, and what drives them. This would also be a great event to network, understand what others do, and see if you can parlay this into a fostering life-long relationship. Besides meeting and interacting with the bloggers, meeting others and challenging the status-quo of how the ‘world of miles/points’ work would enable us to grow and prosper and find ways to create joyful and life-long memories.

  6. I fly nearly every week for work and stay in nicer chain hotels. I have hundreds of thousands of points accrued but no real strategy on how to use them. I see this conference as a great opportunity to get an educaction and begin planning the trip of a lifetime!

  7. I would love a ticket!!! I have some friends going 🙂 I might be out of town on a trip, but it’s not confirmed

  8. Never been before, but it would be a great experience for sure! Got to learn to plan for next year’s trips!

  9. I would love to come to FTU Expo and love as much as I can, especially from the people I’ve been following for years.
