Crazy Morning! BUSINESS CLASS Round-Trip For Less Than $1,000!

Eiffel

Jeebus, it’s a crazy morning for low fares!  First, we had $200 round-trip flights to Israel AND $150-ish round-trip from Europe to the US.  Now, we’re seeing lots of business class fares for under $1,000 round-trip from the US to Europe.

These are on Air Canada.  They have a pretty solid business class product and there’s no way you can beat this price.

One Mile at a Time has a couple of examples up and will be updating his post.

So far, $910 round-trip from Boston to Paris is just one example of a screaming good fare.

$1350 from Seattle to Paris is no slouch, either.  Keep an eye on Ben’s thread.  He should be updating it with more options.  My dance card is pretty full through the end of the year but I’m trying to figure out where else I could book something!

To add to the morning craziness…..

Matthew at Live and Lets Fly is covering the same fare sale, but he found a $250 round-trip fare from New York to Beijing, China.  Unbelievable!

As I’ve said in the past, don’t think of a Boston to Paris fare sale as “Boston to Paris”, or any other two city pairs for that matter.  Think of it as “US to Europe”.  Use cheap flights or miles and points to cover that last leg to your dream destination.  Similarly, when fares are this cheap, leverage your points to save on hotel rooms to give yourself a truly affordable trip to Europe.  For example, New York is a cheap big city to get to.

In less than a 3-hour intra-Europe flight gets you to all kinds of interesting places, like Paris, London, Germany, Amsterdam, and Vienna, a beautiful city I just got finished writing about.

Cheap Business Class Fares To Europe

I wouldn’t sleep on these fares if you’re thinking of booking them.  Remember that virtually any flight that originates or departs in the US is eligible for a full refund for up to 24 hours after purchase.  These fares will go fast!

Given how low they are, I would definitely wait a few days before booking nonrefundable hotels, excursions etc.  Let’s see if the airlines will honor all of these.  I suspect they will, but you can never be sure.

Happy Hunting!

  1. The question is… If i live in Boston…wouldn’t I rather save $500 and go coach for these 6 hour flights versus spending hours longer to get there and go business class?

    1. Ryan, that’s the beautiful thing about different classes of service. We can each choose a best fit. I actually prefer it on shorter trans-Atlantic redeyes so I can get quality sleep. Longer flights or longer trips a bit less important. But, that’s my comfort level, not yours.
