Mystery Mileage Bonus Offers On AAdvantage Shopping Portal
The American Airlines AAdvantage eshopping portal is offering mystery bonuses for members through the end of June.
I wasn’t sure what magnitude to expect on the “mystery deal”. I was slightly underwhelmed by the big reveal:
I’ll be curious to see what other folks got for an offer. I’m hoping there are some better offers than 2,000 miles. It sure beats a sharp stick in the eye. As always, there are terms and conditions.

*The “Mystery Bonus Event” bonus offer runs from 6/05/17 through 6/30/17 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”). During the Bonus Period, if Member shops on the AAdvantage eShoppingSM mall and makes qualifying purchases of at least $500, Member will earn a one-time bonus of 2,000 AAdvantage® miles. “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products identified by the individual merchant. I only got 1,200 myself, and I’ve done a fair amount of transactions through the AA portal this year… though I’m not entirely sure what influences the mystery.
Got the following: “Earn 1,200 AAdvantage® bonus miles* when you spend $300.” Or, around 6% rebate. But with antiquated award search engine and the huge devaluations, it’s hardly worth it.
Kalboz, no question the devaluations hurt. But, I like your offer generally a bit more than mine, since $300 is an easier hurdle to hit.
