Cheap Flights To Europe From Small Cities In The US!

a view of the earth from space

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you’ve seen me talk about plenty of travel deals.  Many of the cheap flights you see to Europe are only available from a small number of cities.  Those are usually the same cities, places where the major airlines have hubs.  There’s currently a sale going on that breaks that mold.

The Flight Deal has details on $400 tickets to Europe, and the list of cities is already many dozens long.  Where you’d normally expect to see cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, we’re seeing lots of smaller cities, including:

  • Tucson
  • Nashville
  • Memphis
  • Indianapolis
  • Milwaukee
  • Kansas City
  • Sacramento
  • College Station
  • Tallahassee
  • Madison
  • Pensacola
  • Hartford
  • Ithaca

You can get to Amsterdam, Rome, Venice, Milan and more.  And, these fares are available for a bunch of months between now and early next year.

The Final Two Pennies

It’s not very often that folks who live in smaller cities get the chance to chase cheap fares.  $400 flights to Europe from these secondary cities won’t come along very often.  As a reminder, any flight that originates from or returns to the US comes with a 24-hour guarantee.  Depending on the airline, you can either put the fare on hold for 24 hours or request a refund within 24 hours.  In the case of American Airlines, it’s the ability to request a refund within 24 hours.

That means if you’re on the fence about booking one of these, you really want to consider booking it now and cancelling within 24 hours if you change your mind.  This fare has been around for a while today and I don’t expect it to last much longer.

  1. Small cities?? LOL! Indianapolis is the 14th largest city in the US, just behind San Francisco! Good to know about the fares though!
