GREAT Deal For Premium Economy Travel To Europe!

Many of my readers ask me how they can travel to Europe in comfort if they don’t have a ton of frequent flyer miles.  Well, today there’s a really good chance to do just that.

This desire is especially true for families traveling.  Getting a good night’s sleep for the kiddos can be the difference between incredible and disaster when it comes to an overseas trip.

Right now, there are some solid fares to Europe in Premium Economy.  In this specific instance, the flights are on Air France.  I haven’t tried out their Premium Economy, but I’ve heard very good things.

God Save The Points notes a deal with a really reasonable price on flights to Spain from the US.

View From The Wing expands on that with fares from a larger handful of cities (New York, Miami, Boston) to Valencia.

These are not the cheapest fares we’ve seen to Europe over the last few months.  But, what’s great about them is Air France’s Premium Economy product.

To be clear, this isn’t business class with a lie-flat bed.  Think more like a domestic US first class seat, though newer and with better technology.  It’s certainly a solid way to fly to Europe.

This is $200-$300 more than the absolute cheapest fares to Europe.  That represents a solid deal for folks who are willing to pay just a bit more and don’t have tons of miles to burn.  I had trouble finding the lowest fares God Saves the Points found, but I did discover plenty in the $630-$730 range.  As with any such fare that originates from/arrives in the United States, you should have 24 hours to cancel/hold the flight while you finalize other plans.
