Target Has An Opportunity For Discounted Disney Tickets Today

Getting discounts at Disney is one of the toughest things to get.  You’ll find the occasional opportunity to save more than a few bucks, but those opportunities are rare.  You can get a pretty consistent 5% discount at Sam’s Club.  Today only, you can get 10% off at Target, and it doesn’t appear to be limited (at least in stores).

Discounted Disney Tickets

The discount limit is $30, which means you can get a $300 gift card for $270.  While you’re limited to one gift card discount per transaction, there doesn’t appear to be a limit on the number of times you can use the discount in stores.  The self-checkout areas have the discount coded to automatically apply when you finish your transaction.  That means you could check-out multiple times to purchase more discounted gift cards, though in-store staff might frown on that.  You can’t stack this discount with the 5% Target REDCard discount (I tried).

The cards aren’t valid until tomorrow morning, December 5th.  So, you’ll need to loop back to Target to use them or redeem online.

What Next?

Purchase Disney gift cards from Target using the discounted gift cards.  Then, you can use this procedure to combine them to make larger Disney ticket purchases.

The Final Two Pennies

Considering that a day at Disney World will set you back over $100, a 10% discount on Disney tickets can add up quickly.  For larger groups traveling to Disney, consider an annual pass for one person to help save money on dining.

Do you have any tips for how to save money on tickets to Disney?
