Award Flash Sale, New Ways To Book Awards to Europe And Cheap Flights All Over The US

Here’s what I’m reading about in the world of miles and points:

Cheap Flights of the Day:

JetBlue is having another really good fare sale, starting at $39

Delta is having a fare sale out of Baltimore for $200 to a host of cities (Oakland, San Diego, Portland and more).  That’s an odd one, but maybe they’re trying to compete with Southwest out of BWI.

American Express is running a 50% transfer bonus to Iberia Airlines right now.

Delta is having a flash sale on award seats to Europe.  It ends today, so jump on it!

I didn’t realize test flights on a new supersonic commercial aircraft were so close to happening.  Maybe I need to start thinking this isn’t a pipe dream…..

No fees on American Express gift cards at Walgreens if you’re looking to stock up on holiday gifts and miles at the same time.

Here’s how United plans to make money off of us in the future.  Still surprises me that 2/3 of a mammoth airline’s flights are revenue managed by hand…..

Aer Lingus is spinning up service to Miami.  That’s great news for American Airlines fliers if they follow through as anticipated and join oneworld.  Dublin is a much easier airport to transfer in Europe than Heathrow.  Aer Lingus doesn’t have hefty fuel surcharges on award tickets (yet).  Connecting American’s hub in Miami with Dublin is a win for AA folks looking to get to Europe.
