I’m teaming up with Luxury Travel Diary again on another great giveaway for readers of Pizza in Motion.  This time, one lucky reader will win a free weekend at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.  Again, you’ll be getting the chance to experience a top-notch property before I do.  Wonder what the property is like?  Check out this View From The Wing review.

Grand Hyatt Singapore

Well located in Singapore, the Grand Hyatt is a Category 5 hotel, which means 20,000 points per night for a standard room.  In this case, the giveaway is for a Grand room which comes with club access (and, I’ve heard great things about the club lounge), which should cost 27,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points per night.  But, thanks to Luxury Travel Diary, it won’t cost the winner anything.

Grand Hyatt Singapore

Luxury Travel Diary is a great website for folks who love to travel.  They offer a variety of auctions that represent good value for those of us that like to hunt for a deal.  You can pick out your favorite auctions and bid on discounted stays, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and the occasional travel-themed item.  There are literally almost 100 auctions currently active and they add new ones daily.  Some of my favorites right now are:

7 nights for 6 people in a $3 Million villa in Costa Rica for 6 people.

The way to do Disney right!  3 nights in a villa that sleeps 8 with a private pool  right near Disney.

And, a bunch of awesome safaris!

So, how do you win a weekend at the Grand Hyatt Singapore?

There are two ways to enter directly from this blog post (plus additional ways to enter below):

  1. Take a look at the hotel and tell me why you want to visit Grand Hyatt Singapore.
  2. Check out the auctions at Travel Luxury Diary and tell me your favorite (I might tell you if you hit the one I’ve got my eye on).

You can comment twice, once for each of the reasons above.  Entries past that will be disregarded.

If you want additional entries, you can enter your e-mail address below to be added to the Luxury Travel Diary mailing list and also sign-up to follow me via social media.  If you’re already subscribed to any of these channels you can enter through these methods again (don’t worry, you won’t get two copies of any e-mails!).  I send one e-mail a day with an update of my daily posts.  Luxury Travel Diary sends only a couple of e-mails a week to keep you updated on all the great auctions.

Click here to view this promotion.

The deadline to enter is 11:59 pm EST on Wednesday, April 6th.

More pesky rules: All decisions by me are final.  The winner will be selected randomly using random.org.  The prize is for a 2 night weekend stay (Saturday and Sunday) in a Grand room with club access for up to 2 people.  The prize expires February 28, 2017.  The following blackout dates apply:

  • January 1st
  • February 14th-18th
  • September 15th-18th
  • December 30th-31st

The hotel also wanted me to mention that the gift certificates are non transferable, not redeemable for cash and can not be replaced if lost or stolen.  Reservation are required and are based on availability.  Any transportation costs to/from Singapore are your responsibility, so just make sure you can get there if you’re entering (happy to provide advice on cheap fares or using award miles).

I don’t receive any compensation from the hotel or Luxury Travel Diary.  It’s a great property and I’m happy to help promote both the auctions at Luxury Travel Diary and the Grand Hyatt Singapore.  All I want is a brief follow-up e-mail when you get back letting me know how you liked the property.

Good luck!

  1. I’d like to visit the Grand Hyatt Singapore because it is a perfect home-base to explore Singapore on my first trip to the Garden City. Located in the middle of all the tourist action with a lush pool to retreat to for relaxing breaks.

  2. My current favorite auction item is “5-NIGHT WINTER STAY AT SHERATON DUBROVNIK, CROATIA” because Croatia is still a hot ticket travel locale and looks amazing. Plus, I’m starting to give SPG more love so would like checking out the Sheraton there.

  3. Location of the grand Hyatt hotel in Singapore seems great! It would be a perfect homebase for my upcoming trip in August. Looks like the hotel has great restaurants and bars as well.

  4. Have a work trip coming up in May to Singapore – would love to stay somewhere a little nicer than where the company is putting me up (for a few days at least)!

  5. The auction for the three night stay in Koh Samui looks great. My wife and I had a great stay at the Conrad there last year and would love to go back.

  16. I could never get enough of Singapore’s hawker stalls, plus the Grand Hyatt is right by Orchard road so it would be nice to return and stay there instead of the Marina.

  17. I would love to pick up a stay at the Conrad Koh Samui for anywhere close to a reasonable price for our upcoming trip to Thailand!

  18. Any opportunity to have chili crab or chicken rice is reason enough to visit Singapore, but staying at the Grand Hyatt would be icing on the cake.

  19. We would love to stay at the Grand Hyatt Singapore since we are going to Singapore for our 25th Anniversary and I hear great things about the Club Lounge there!

  20. Would love to stay at the Meridien in Costa Rica – adventure, beach, rainforest and the best coffee in the world!

My favourite Luxury Travel diary auction and one that I have my eye on is “2 Nights at the Four Seasons in Marrakech” 🙂

  23. My lovely wife and I got married in Singapore and spent our wedding night at this hotel. We liked Singapore and the hotel so much that we also flew back for our first anniversary. We would love for the opportunity or excuse to fly back to Singapore and stay at this wonderful hotel again!

  26. One night at La Scelta di Goethe Luxury Suites in Rome is my favorite from whats currently available on Travel Luxury Diary

    All great choices!

  35. Charlie’s Inn in Indiana sounds nice ;). Next maybe ByronBay. Not as exotic as some other destinations maybe, but close, & less details needed to get the whole family there.

  36. And Grand Hyatt SIN? Well, the wonderful Hyatt hospitality & the Chili crab of course. And to take photos everywhere. The pic of just the hotel foyer intrigues me. The floating staircase. How do they get the floors so shiny that they reflect the flowers like that? The ceiling features too.. When I finally get outside, the skyline, the culture, the people, the food.

  37. Getting married in December in Indonesia, and going to Singapore for the honeymoon, so the Grand Hyatt Singapore would be perfect for this! I especially liked the note on the remote in Gary’s review. Tells me they actually take the time to clean things many hotels don’t.
