Short notice, I’ll be picking a winner tomorrow, since the event starts Friday. A good friend of mine reached out today to ask if I could help give away his ticket to Frequent Traveler University Advanced in San Diego, which starts day after tomorrow, Friday, March 5th.

Leave a comment here and I’ll pick a winner on Thursday.

***if you’re on Twitter, make sure you send a shout out to @darrenmak and @jdufgate11 for generously giving away their tickets. Brownie points may help score the winner!

PLEASE only reply if you can definitely attend so the tickets doesn’t go to waste. They costs $249 but it’s worth so much more in knowledge.

If you miss out on these, there’s still an upcoming event in DFW with tickets for sale.

  1. Sorry your friend can’t make it, but I am flying down for the weekend and the FTU and would love to bring my brother with me. ( He lives in SD and went to the FTU in SEA last year).

  2. Just booked an award flight for friday. I guess im feeling this one. Hahaha. Since Ive never won anything in my life, its got to happen at some point

    1. Amy, why don’t you go ahead and surprise your boyfriend? You won one of the two tickets! Shoot me an email at ed -at- Milepoint dot com with his full name and I’ll get it taken care of.

  3. Me, a local
    You, generous
Wife ,heading up to LA this weekend
    All the stars are aligned!

I did the Seattle one last year and would love to attend an advanced one. Fingers crossed!

  4. I would absolutely love to go! What a generous giveaway!
I’m in the San Diego area, so there is no chance of a random winter storm keeping me away.

  5. I’ve been looking for an excuse to leave the cold Northeast for a weekend, and this ticket would be the PERFECT reason. Thanks for considering my entry!

  6. I live in SD and have a 2yr old who pretty much eats up any chance at an extended exit from the house these days. With that being said, my wife has penciled this weekend in on the family calander – yes an actual hand written family calander – Mike’s travel hacking weekend. Amazing woman :). Unfortunately, the ticket I had in my shipping cart when FTU went on sale was sold out when I went to buy. Literally within an hour of finding out they were on sale. I’m already planning to go to one of the meetups Saturday night, but it would be awesome to attend the actual seminar and hopefully get a few tips to take the whole family on an amazing vacation. Even if not, I’m happy to share tips on my hometown with anyone interested. Thanks!

    1. Mike, sounds like your wife’s hand-written calendar is right after all. You won one of the two tickets! Shoot me an email at ed -at- Milepoint dot com with your full name and I’ll get it taken care of.

  7. Not sure why my original comment didn’t post… Sorry if this goes up twice. I live in San Diego and would love to attend. Lately, it’s been hard to get out of the house for more than a few hours with an all consuming energetic 2 year old running around all the time. Fortunately, my wife is amazing and has already penciled in this weekend as “Mike’s Travel Hacking Weekend” on our family calendar — yes actually hand written down on a real paper calendar – knowing it’s important to me. When FTU went on sale, I was literally clicking to purchase, and I received an error message saying it was sold out. The ticket was in my shopping cart for a hair too long I guess. In any respect, I plan to go to some of the meetups and hope to run into some of you one way or the other. But it would be great to actually attend the seminar and hopefully pick up a few extra tips on how get the family out on an amazing vacation. If it doesn’t work out, no worries. I’m always happy to answer questions or offer tips about my amazing home town. There’s a reason it’s called America’s Finest City! Thanks in advance!

  8. Would love to join ya…have a bunch of travel opps this year I would love to learn from the group on.

  9. Any no-shows or unused tickets? I could be at the Hyatt in 5 minutes – had my heart set on going and still hoping for a chance.
