GIVEAWAY: I’m Sending Someone To Frequent Traveler University

A good friend of mine has a ticket for the upcoming Frequent Traveler University (Advanced) taking place in Chicago September 26th-28th that they can’t use.  So, I offered to buy it from her and give it away to one lucky reader. You can read more about the event here on Milepoint.

Learn expert tips from all the pros of our “hobby”.

The event sold out quickly and there have been plenty of folks trying to buy a ticket. But, you don’t have to worry about buying it.  We’ve got it covered.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post expressing your interest by 11:59pm, Tuesday, September 9th.  I’ll draw one lucky winner after that.

And, to top it off, my friend is donating her hotel room for the 26th and 27th at the host hotel.  A special thanks to alfagirl on Milepoint for generously offering this.  I’ll be making a donation to charity in her name to recognize her generosity.

Since this is a sold out event, PLEASE confirm that you can go when you leave a comment.  The ticket will be transferred into your name and we want to make sure this ticket ends up in the hands of someone who can use it.

That’s the full scoop.  Just leave a comment letting me know you can attend and I’ll randomly draw a winner.

Just another small way for me to say thanks to you for reading my blog!

  1. OMG, I am SO interested. Just checked schedules and I would definitely attend if selected. If I cannot find a decent flight, I will drive from Fairfax county. I was so bummed to learn about a previous one up the street in Tysons Corner the week after it happened.

  2. As long as your donation doesn’t involve any buckets of ice, please!
(Do not enter me, will be on business trip during FTU weekend.)

  3. I live in Chicago and I didn’t know about this? I would love to go especially since I’m going to the beginners seminar in October. Please pick me!!!!

  4. I love Frequent Traveler University. It’s the best place to meet the pros and learn from fellow advanced frequent milers. I live in Chicago and am available to go. Thanks for your generous offer.

  5. I am free that weekend and would LOVE to attend. I dragged my feet for too long and tickets were sold out by the time I was ready to buy.

  6. I am desperate for a ticket! I have been watching the forums, hoping that one will come up. Going to be in Chicago that weekend. Fingers crossed 🙂

  7. Yep, count me in. Would love to be able to attend. The wife has only been able to get 1 ticket so far, I’ll be in Chicago with her but I may just have to hang at the bar all weekend if she can’t get hold of another one.

  8. As a Canadian, we don’t have it anywhere as easy as our American counterparts for earning and redeeming miles in the Great White North. Would love to be able to take this knowledge and help out my fellow Canadian friends to expand their wings and provide some international representation to the conference. I Would also be willing to write a recap of the events for your blog as well. Oh, and yes I’m available that weekend!

  9. I would definitely attend the event! I’ve been dying to attend something like this for years, but never had the chance to because the tickets would always sell out. Please, please pick me!

  10. I just graduated from university and I’m barley getting into the miles and points game 🙂 I would appreciate this opportunity! Thank you!

  11. Oh, man, I would love to go. I am relatively new to this; I’ve been racking up some miles but have difficulty redeeming them economically. I would definitely benefit from the experts that will be there.

  12. I’ve attended almost every FFU before this, and I don’t how I managed to miss the boat on this one. Would love to have a second chance.

  13. I’ve never been to FTU but would love the opportunity to attend, meet everyone, and learn. I was excited when I saw this post last night and am now even more excited that I’ve confirmed my schedule is free!

  14. A very generous offer. Have checked my schedule and flights to ORD using Avios so am all ready to go. I’m sure we are all anxiously awaiting your decision.

  15. I would love to go with my friend, but we were only able to purchase one ticket. I’m definitely available that weekend!
