Family Vacation: Cruise

This will hopefully be the first of a few posts about our recent cruise vacation in the Mexican Riviera.  We were one short of a baker’s dozen, including my father and Barrie, my cousin Serena and her husband Ron, and my great friend Stefan and his family.

We flew to LGB the day before we were scheduled to depart.  The cruise was scheduled to stop in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.

We had an enjoyable, if not high quality, dinner.  The following morning, we made our way to the ship for our first day of enjoyment on Mariner of the Seas.  We’ve had some great experiences with Royal Caribbean, and were ready for another great vacation.

Upon boarding, we ate some lunch, got settled into our cabin, and started to plan our week.  A couple of quick pictures from our first day.  Two fun pictures of Catherine with a towel animal, and a picture of our arrival at Cabo San Lucas:
