NCAA Expanding March Madness Field to 68?

My favorite time of the year for sports is March Madness.  Sitting at home and watching 2 straight days worth of college basketball tournament action is still something I treasure.

The NCAA had looked to expand it’s field to 96 teams this year, a move I strongly disagreed with.

Now, there are rumors that a 68 team field is much more likely.  What does this mean?  Most likely, it means that 4 additional at-large teams will make the field.  They will compete in play-in games for the last at-large spots, usually 9-12 seeds.  Northern Iowa was a 10 seed this year, so this should make for some very interesting games.

My goal in life is to fill my family’s passports with stamps, creating buckets of memories along the way. You’ll find me writing about realistic ways for normal people to travel the world, whether you’re on a budget or enjoy luxury. I also enjoy taking us on the occasional detour to explore the inner workings of the travel industry.
